    1. Terrence says:

In my search for a way to stop these calls, I found Molly's comment for 207-221-0506 that works for 207-221-0503 also; I was getting these calls and a couple different phone numbers of which I saw on another blog; a do not call service for a small number of companies that call consumers. Call 307-223-0458 or email to service@callerhelp.org. Give the caller's number to verify it's on their list of numbers and your receiving number and they'll remove it from the caller's list.

I received the same type of phone call as well. He said that I had been chosen to receive money from a U.S. grant and to go to a Western Union to receive it.  He said his name was Chris Adams. I immediately reported this to the local law enfornment.

Three calls within a few hours, finally answered and spoke with a woman first. thought it was just a telemarketer type of deal, but once i realized they had the last 4 digits of my card i was concerned. then was switched to a man who informed me the call was being recorded and kept pushing me to accept their offer. after about 15 minutes of our arguing he finally accepted my no for an answer. scam for sure and very annoying to deal with.

    8. Edmund says:

Just got a call 2 minutes ago. I said Hello and it says, "This is a very important message for...Slenton Lee" or whatever his name is...probably some terrorist. Then is says "If you are not Slenton Lee, please disconnect or hang up now". I've gotten numerous voice mails with this same message and it is starting to come back and haunt me.
